Vampire Alexandriaby *DAA-TRUTH

One of my recent projects, this female vampire, Alexandria will be part of my Vampires collection. I've done the line art in pencils, scanned, and did all coloring in Photoshop. This time around, i went for simple color palletes instead of making the artwork too colorful or vibrant. I want to give it a old dark feeling to the piece.

Pure awesome! Really love the coloring.

(I'm a HUGE fan of not going with "too colorful or vibrant" - I think art like this is sooooo much better).

Truly awesome. The feel is consistent with some of the best fantasy painting and heavy metal covers. It is rich, deep, and supports the character and story so much better than bright/vibrant colors that tend to focus the reader on the colors at the expense of the story/character.

See, this shot is a cover of a book I'd buy.
